I have to change the review that was initially given so that we received two dishes for free the following week as compensation for the difficulties with the previous order. Hence now three instead of one star. We ordered today at 6 p.m. After 2.5 hours it wasn't always delivered high. Nobody picks up the phone or the line is busy. Then reached someone on the 10th attempt. Very unfriendly, the driver is on the way and there in 10 minutes. Still no delivery 25 minutes later. Absolutely disappointing and definitely not to be recommended. Unless you have hours to wait. If you had the opportunity to not award a star, I would definitely have done that today!
The food is very good. A delivery went badly but the compensation was reasonable.
Very courteous staff. Cozy ambience.
The mango curry was absolutely amazing. The midday menu prices are really good.
Lunch menu overpriced, quality not convincing.
We ended up paying double the normal Indian restaurant prices though the menu is an offer price list. A .3cl cola costs you 4€. Could have tasted better with such high prices
Clean Indian restaurant but high prices
Good food, good service.
Food was very good
The Sangeet is - as has so often happened with many colleagues - a new addition to Lieferando. It's an Indian restaurant, which doesn't turn my husband on because of the rice in the main dishes, but we still found something yesterday. Only something small for everyone, but you don't always need so much to bang in ... My husband grabbed a naan filled with onions. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to eat that because I do not bring down most of the baked or otherwise cooked fruit and vegetables. For dessert he had milk with cornmeal. But then I took the naan filled with minced meat, and as a sweet little something a Mango Lassi 0.5 l. The minimum order value of 15.00 € is completely humane and with 17.00 € and a pair of squashed ones we were of course good at it. Yesterday was Sunday, so our supplier was unfortunately late and he was also very short. My husband's dish was probably a bit dry, but as mentioned above, I'll never be able to find out for myself. My naan fit perfectly, well seasoned and even very slightly spicy. When it was removed from the aluminum foil it was soft and sweated. Remedy: Immediately - as I did - take it out of the packaging and put it on a plate. Personally, I wouldn't have made the Mango Lassi that sweet - but good. Maybe you can make a suggestion for improvement. It bothers a bit that you can't pay cash, only online. That could also be changed. Conclusion: All in all, it was completely on the price for the price. I think the thing has potential all in all.
Probably the best Indian restaurant in the Munich area. I have been a customer for years and I am very satisfied. Thank you!!!
This restaurant indeed looks fancy but, it does not justify the exorbitant prices of the dishes served here.... Food tastes average (for vegetarian dishes - can't comment on meat dishes tho)... Thali is served only with rice and no roti for about 20 euros! Service is average too... If you are looking for vegetarian north indian food, probably its better to try out other restaurants in Munich than this...
Very good food, friendly service! Ample servings. In the middle of the city center a bit higher in price, but still reasonable.
Very tasty and nice atmosphere.
Unfortunately not what it used to be! Knowing the sangeet for a long time, it was sometimes one of the best restaurants in terms of taste and meat quality. Unfortunately, the Sangeet no longer has the level of a very upmarket Indian restaurant! Unfortunately, it is now only a mediocre restaurant. For almost 18 euros per dish, I expect a completely different quality and Outstanding taste, unfortunately, neither is given here! It's a shame that this restaurant, like unfortunately many other restaurants in Munich, has reduced significantly! Conclusion: Much too overpriced for just an average meal!
Very good food, delicious with a normal price!
This Indian restaurant has a huge space; we went there with more than 60 people. People are nice. Foods okay. I had ordered a haus thali. I was not very disappointed. Well, generally, I don't find a great Indian restaurant here in Munich. Maybe they don't have a lot of Indian customers than European customers.
Good food and atmosphere here.
Not hospitable at all.. waiter kept the nose high... not authentic Indian veg food... expensive as well
A staff is friendly and every food I had were delicious!
Good Indian food in munich. Lot of option and staff is helpful
Good food.. but high prices.. also i wish that if it is Halal food sources then the word should be clearly written on menues , website or the restaurant!
Not happy with the service. Taste was ok. Over priced for the quality of the food.
Not at all eatable very bad taste they sd think about image of Indian cuisine.
Nice
Deliciously delicious Indian food. If you are looking for vegeterian options, trust me this is the best place. Plus the ambience and service is too good. :)
The vegetarian starters were great but the rest of the food was pretty forgettable. Everything tasted the same. Not bad, but not interesting at all. The fish was dry and very oily. Service was quite pushy as they kept taking away dishes from our table when we hadn’t even finished. However the restaurant is spacious and cozy, and well located.
It's super expensive. So expensive that by seeing the menu itself we turned around and left.
A year before..the food was better
I've been coming to Sangeet regularly, at least once a week for a few years. I almost always order vegetarian. It has mostly been pretty good (but not amazing). Given the location it is also quite expensive, but I happily paid it as it was close to my office. Today I ordered Chicken tikka and the first two pieces were fine. The third one, however, was completely and utterly raw! I immediately spat it out but knowing that uncooked chicken can carry salmonella and other illnesses, I was pretty worried the damage was already done! The waiter's response? "Yes it's totally raw" and he agreed with me that it was dangerous "but the chef cooks a lot of chicken a day and it doesn't happen very often." I almost fell off my chair! He then brought me another piece. By this point I was worried about contamination from the other piece spilling into the rest of my food. My appetite was gone but I did somewhat reluctantly eat the replacement piece after checking it thoroughly. I then requested the bill and asked for a small reduction of 5 euros which I thought was fair enough. Given the gravity of the mistake, other restaurants would have no doubt completely excluded the meal from the bill - especially for a loyal customer. The waiter refused to offer ANY discount though, as did the manager. I was bit shocked that they would treat any diner this way, let alone one they have known for many years, had friendly chats with, and has never caused any trouble and always tipped generously! Well, clearly they don't need my business so that's the last time I'll be dining there and now I just have to hope I don't get sick. By all means eat here if you want but choose a vegetarian option and don't expect friendly customer service or things to be rectified when they go wrong. Caveat emptor.
Lovely decoration and testy food
Super nice staff, you feel very welcome. Apart from that great atmosphere .... the portions are neat!
Excellent food but expensive, staff were friendly??
Unfortunately I walked on the evaluation was 4 .. The truth is the restaurant Maistahl more than a star .. Eating less than a weak level and the price is very very expensive compared to the prices of all restaurants, for example, who asked for more than forty euros, but exceeded seventy Willett was settled .. Crew respected and service and place Suitable for families Frank fraternity Jacob described the restaurant very accurately for this quoted exactly
My friend and I have been going here regularly for 3 years now. The food is always delicious and high quality. The staff is very friendly. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants in Munich!
One of the best Indian restaurant in Munich. The food is delicious. And they served one of the best Lassi within the city. Good place to hangout with friends and family with mouth watering food.
Bangladeshi (yes, not Indian, but awesome) restaurant with fantastic food, lovely service - you get papad, and a lovely surprise in a small cup at the end. Great service, smiling staff, fantastic decor and interiors - total value for money
The restaurant is located at a very prime location in Munich and has a very attractive front. Restaurant's sitting area is also well maintained and clean, very good for small or medium size gathering. The price of food is too high with the average taste. Also same curry is used for whatever dish you order. Service is good.
Same gravy for all the curries .... so funny....very very expensive ... have a look at the menu before going ..
Vert good food for a low price, great place!
Excellent service and tasty food ..
Excellent service, delicious food and great location.
My first chicken briyani experience in Germany will be a long lasting memory. Hardly any salt in the food. The chicken used was frozen chicken as it was evident from the taste. I would rather say it as not a briyani. Probably my expectations were high for a briyani in Germany from an Indian restaurant. Guess they modify the dish to suit the tastebuds of Germans - less spices. Anyway had a bad experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and service is professional. Pls inform the chef to prepare food the Indian way - anyone who tastes it should feel the actual Indian taste.
The food was just ok but too expensive. Won't suggest anyone to go there.
The place is over priced and the food was not nice ... the service is moderate
Nice and tasty Real Indian cuisine
For my part, I can say that nothing has frustrated us until now! It has always been a success in my mouth. I think the place is contemporary for all occasions - whether with a man, acquaintance or clan ;-). Surely I'm here with my people and can count on being taken care of masterfully. This restaurant truly has the potential to become my new hangout. It was great.
Tasty authentic food. Price is slightly on the higher side. But its worth for the ambience. Good service.
Fantastic restaurant in Munich and delicious and well worth the experience the salt was a little plus in some dishes .. The employee treated shajib was fantastic and the minio .. Prices are a bit high ..
Delicious Indian food
